Here at GROW, the health of your children is our number one priority. We want to reassure our patients and families that we’re doing everything that’s been recommended by the CDC and the Travis County Health Department, and more, to ensure that our clinic is as sanitary as possible.
Our regular routine includes cleaning and sanitizing the waiting room and its books and toys several times per day. We also thoroughly sanitize exam rooms between each patient.
With the latest Coronavirus updates, we’ve increased our efforts. We have an adequate supply of cleaning and sanitizing products, as well as protective equipment, should we ever need it. In addition to screening patients prior to bringing them into the office, we are paying special attention to our staff to be sure we’re all healthy as well.
Currently, we do not offer a test for COVID-19 in office. We’re also not bringing any patients into the clinic if they are under suspicion; in other words, meeting the criteria set forth by the CDC. Rest assured, we are aware and constantly checking the latest recommendations. We are also actively working on the implementation of telemedicine to eliminate visits to the office that do not require a physical exam.
