As many of you are aware, Dr. Ali was recently away on maternity leave. We’re sorry to let you know that due to family circumstances, she will not be returning to GROW Pediatrics.
Dr. Ali and her family welcomed a perfect, beautiful and healthy baby girl in early December. They continue to do well and thank everyone for their well wishes! Unfortunately, Dr. Ali’s mother suffered a traumatic medical event here in Austin, very shortly after they welcomed their daughter. Because of the ongoing recovery, Dr. Ali’s family has made the difficult decision to relocate with her parents to Pakistan, for a temporary but indefinite amount of time. While this was a complex decision to make, her family feels incredibly fortunate for their ability to be present and offer care for her extended family.
The physicians and staff at GROW completely support and encourage Dr. Ali, her family, their health, and her difficult decision. We admire her commitment to care for her family, although we’re sad to see her leave the practice, as she has become such a part of us.
Our other five physicians remain available to your families, and will seamlessly continue your children’s care. Dr. Ali hopes to continue serving Austin’s pediatric community in the future, when her and her family return to the US.
We know that our wonderful patient community will join us in wishing Dr. Ali and her family all the best, including safe travels and continuing health.
Please contact the office if you have questions or concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and will do everything we can to accommodate your family’s needs. Stay tuned for exciting news regarding our next incoming GROW physician!
