Grow Pediatrics is committed to your health and your safety. While we realize seeing your child in person is the best way to diagnose and treat, we also recognize the role that telehealth will play in reducing potential transmission of the recent epidemic of COVID-19. For the foreseeable future, we will be offering telemedicine visits in addition to in-person visits. A telemedicine visit is a video appointment with a doctor. Appropriate visits for telemedicine might be pink eye, rashes or behavior consults. If your child has mild respiratory symptoms and possible exposure to COVID, we would encourage a telemedicine visit before any testing is ordered.

As always, if you would like to schedule a telemedicine visit or an in-person visit, please call our office.

In addition to this new visit modality, we are reducing and rescheduling non-essential visits, stepping up our infection control policies and sanitation and wearing masks for every patient at every visit. We ask that you bring only one well parent or caregiver to each visit, and try to avoid bringing in siblings who are not being seen if possible.

Thank you for limiting phone calls to our triage nurse to questions about sick children only. Please try and avoid calling about patients who may have been exposed and are asymptomatic. At this time, our recommendation is self-quarantine for 14 days from the possible exposure. Thank you for your help. We are grateful to be able to help our patients during this trying time and also appreciate your patience with us as we work out these new systems and protocols.
