A Message From Our Physicians

Due to current political rhetoric surrounding the economics of pediatrics vaccines, GROW Pediatrics wants to ensure that our patients and their families have access to factual information, from trusted sources. As always, we are here to answer any questions you may have.
We would like to reassure our patients that GROW physicians recommend vaccines based on what they believe is best for each individual patient. We understand that financial incentives can create bias. We want to reassure patients that although we are in the business of preventative care, which includes vaccination, we give all the vaccines we recommend to our own children and feel strongly that they are safe, effective, and necessary to keep our communities healthy. GROW currently does not participate in any insurance networks that provide incentive payments for vaccination metrics.
Many of us have experienced a vaccine-preventable disease personally (Chickenpox and RSV are great examples). We have mentors and parents who were practicing physicians in a time before many of the modern vaccines were available. They tell us what practicing pediatrics in a community with more serious infectious diseases looked like – and it was not pretty. Here are some links to informative websites/videos that help people to understand some of the the financial aspects of vaccinating children.
