Same-Day “Sick” Visits

Having a sick child can be overwhelming and stressful for the entire family. At GROW Pediatrics, we have years of experience prioritizing efficient, compassionate and quality care to get your little one feeling better as soon as possible. Our practice is staffed by board certified physicians six days a week. We reserve appointments on our daily schedule to ensure that we can accommodate sick patients when they need us.

We diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions daily; ear infections, fever, respiratory illness, allergies and asthma, gastrointestinal illness (upset tummies!), urinary tract infections, skin rashes, acne, conjunctivitis (pink eye), sore throats, common colds, flu, minor injuries, concussions, foreign body removals, wart treatment/removal, and much more. Our in-house lab offers rapid testing for Strep, Flu, Covid-19, and RSV. We also regularly send out specimens to our local laboratory for additional testing, beyond what can be completed in the office.  Additionally, we have close relationships with local children’s hospitals and pediatric specialists, should an outside referral or further treatment be needed. For clinically urgent or time-sensitive issues, our staff is here to assist in facilitating those connections. We work to ensure that the specialty providers receive all necessary information about your child, and that you are able to successfully schedule a visit with them.

Our caring front desk staff is available to you from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays (minus a lunch break from 12-1:00 pm), and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays. They can assist with scheduling appointments, addressing billing and insurance needs, and answering general questions.

If you’re not sure that your child needs to be seen for a visit, and have surrounding questions that our front office cannot answer, we have Registered Nurses available to speak with you to advise as to the best course of action.
